NFHS-1 NFHS-2 Ordering Publications

NFHS produces variety of publications that provide state-level and comparative national-level data on population, health and nutrition in India. Based on the results of NFHS-1 and NFHS-2 the publications provide detailed as well as summary information for use by policymakers, program managers in India and, population and health organizations and researchers throughout the world.

All 48 reports for NFHS-1 are published, along with a number of subject reports, bulletins and wall charts. All publications are distributed free of cost among the government offices, health organizations, universities and educational institutes of interest, individual researchers and NGOs. NFHS-1 national report is available on this website.

For NFHS-2, preliminary reports for 26 states are already published. Final National report and final report for several states are already published. Three Wall Charts containing state and national level information on important health and population indicators are also published on 16 November 2000. National Summary report is also available now.
